EDUCAUSE Technology - Digital Transformation

Successful Digital Transformation involves accompanying cultural and workforce changes that align with the technology changes.  Reinitz (2020) describes the “Three Ds” of digital transformation in progression:

1.     Digitization: Changing from physical to digital form

2.     Digitalization:  Using digital technologies and information

3.     Digital Transformation: Culture, workforce, and technology shifts that transform the institution.

  Sociotechnical Plan for the Air Vehicle Safety Prevention and Protection System Image Generated by Bing   Scope Despite the many SpaceX technological successes, the Starship rocket launched in April 2023 was destroyed by fire and explosion four minutes after launch above the Gulf of Mexico (Time, 2023).
